Djokovic ar putea juca alături de Nadal, Federer şi Murray la Laver Cup

Iubitorii tenisului i-ar putea vedea jucând împreună pe cei patru componenţi ai „Big Four”, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer şi Andy Murray, cu ocazia celei de-a cincea ediţii a competiţiei pe echipe Laver Cup, programată în acest an, informează Reuters, potrivit Agerpres.

Miercuri, britanicul Andy Murray a fost desemnat al treilea membru al echipei Europei, alături de Nadal şi Federer, lăsându-i pe fanii sportului alb să viseze la posibilitatea ca şi Djokovic să se alăture rivalilor săi de lungă durată, la evenimentul care se va derula în luna septembrie la Londra.

„Ar fi ce va unic. Este o posibilitate. Agentul meu ţine legătura cu echipa Laver Cup. Am stabilit că va exista o decizie după încheierea turneului de la Wimbledon”, a declarat Djokovic după calificarea în turul al treilea al turneului londonez de Mare Şlem.

Nadal, Djokovic, Federer şi Murray au dominat tenisul masculin în ultimele două decenii, câştigând împreună 65 de titluri de Grand Slam.

Arena O2 din Londra, care a găzduit Turneul Campionilor, competiţia de final de sezon a circuitului ATP, între 2009 şi 2020, va organiza Laver Cup între 23 şi 25 septembrie, după ce Team Europe, condusă de suedezul Bjorn Borg, a câştigat toate ediţiile anterioare.

Echipa Restului Lumii (Team World), al cărei căpitan este americanul John McEnroe, a stabilit deja trei dintre membrii săi: canadianul Felix Auger-Aliassime, americanul Taylor Fritz şi argentinianul Diego Schwartzman.

Novak Djokovic a participat la cea de-a doua ediţie a turneului, desfăşurată în 2018 la Chicago (Statele Unite).

„Laver Cup este singura competiţie în care poţi avea toţi marii rivali, Big Three sau Big Four, jucând împreună în aceeaşi echipă. Desigur, este un concept foarte diferit şi interesant pentru noi, jucătorii, dar şi pentru fanii din întreaga lume”, a mai spus tenismanul sârb.

Almost 16,447 companies erased in first half of 2022

The number of erased companies has gone up by 15.3% during the first 6 months of this year, to up to 16,447, as opposed to 14,265 during the same period of 2021, according to the centralized data of the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC).

The most companies that were erased were registered in Bucharest, namely 3,078 companies (going up by 16.41%), as well as in the counties of Ilfov (669, +22.75%), Cluj (794, +21.78%), Constanta (825, +21.5%) and Timis (725, +6.46%).

On the other hand, the fewest strike-offs were recorded in the counties of Ialomita (81, -31.36%), Mehedinti (107, +22.99%), Covasna (118, +28.26%) and Calarasi (118, +4.42%).

By business area, the highest number of strike-offs was reported in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, with 5,094 strike-offs recorded nationwide. As opposed to the similar period of last year, strike-offs in this sector have gone up by 18.96%.

According to the quoted source, construction, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as the processing industry, are activity areas where a larger number of company strike-offs were registered, namely 1,532 (+15.36%), 1,430 (+4.30%) and 1.421 (+12.33%).AGERPRES

New Israeli ambassador to Romania Reuven Azar arrives in Bucharest

The newly appointed ambassador of the State of Israel to Romania, Reuven Azar, has arrived in Bucharest, a press release of the diplomatic mission reported on Thursday.

A career diplomat, Reuven Azar has until recently held the position of director of the Israel-US-China working group within the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

Until September 2021, Azar was deputy adviser to national security and foreign policy at the National Security Council, at the same time being a foreign policy adviser to the Prime Minister of the Government of Israel.

From 2014 to 2018, Reuven Azar was a Deputy Ambassador to Washington D.C., USA. Prior to this mandate, he was head of the Middle East Research Department at the Israeli Foreign Ministry, as well as deputy ambassador to Jordan, in Amman.

Throughout his activity, the diplomat has also dealt with aspects of cooperation and negotiation with the Palestinian Authority. He was also the head of the Economic Mission of the Israeli Embassy in Cairo, Egypt (1996-2000), as well as an adviser for political affairs, for four years, in Washington, USA (2003-2006).

Reuven Azar was born in Argentina in 1967, graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (with a master’s degree in International Relations), is fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic and is currently studying Romanian.AGERPRES(
